Summer Fun

This summer is passing so quickly!  Here are some random pictures of our last few weeks.

These two have enjoyed trying to put together matching outfits each day.

Painting rocks.

(This picture makes the craft project look way more successful than it actually was.  I should have also taken a picture about 10 minutes after this one.  It would have shown three boys covered in war paint and handprints, running around the yard and trying to throw and kick the finished painted rocks that were drying in the sun.  Oh well, they all seemed to have fun, Grace painted for ages, and it kept them...and me...busy for a while!)

I promised Grace one summer party with her four good friends from Ferndale.  She planned and prepared for it all by herself, and was a little let down when it was over.  They all had a great time.

We went raspberry picking...

...and made loads of yummy jam.

We also went out for Liam's birthday dinner at, you guessed it...

...Billy McHale's.

One of our favorite ways to keep the kids behaving nicely in restaurants is by bringing the camera and letting them take pictures of each other making funny faces.  

Here are the results of the "angry face..."

Then of course, the staff came out and brought Liam his sundae and sang Happy Birthday.  (We know the words to the special "Billy's Happy Birthday Song" as well as the waitresses.)

And Liam was one happy camper.

We are leaving tomorrow for a trip back to Utah and Idaho and we can't wait to see all our families!
