We began another beautiful day in Leavenworth with a walk into town. We said hello to our mountain goat friends...
...then the girls went shopping while the boys went down to the river. We met up at the gorgeous spot they had found, with a perfect swimming hole.
Declan's diaper proved to be very super-absorbent, so we freed him of it.
Then Garreth and Filipe took the opportunity to add to their calendar-photo portfolios.
After lunch at a sweet little gingerbread cafe (the outdoor tables were wet-and-sandy-kids-friendly!),
we went back to the hotel for naps.
Then it was time for the best part of the whole trip - tubing on the Wenatchee River!
We had SO much fun on the river! We hooked tubes together so Sam and Declan got to have their own, attached to Garreth and I. Alex got his own tube, too:

It was an absolutely perfect afternoon, and maybe our favorite family activity ever!
