Misc. March

Before the onslaught of pictures from our awesome spring break in Idaho, I wanted to catch up on some March happenings.

Sam's preschool took a field trip to the fire station.

The firefighters got called out in the middle of it, and it was awesome to see them jump into the trucks and pull out with their lights and sirens on. And we didn't even miss out on anything because one of the chaperoning dads worked at the station and finished our tour!

Soccer started!

I love Saturdays at the soccer fields! There are not many things cuter than seven year old boys playing soccer!

For his birthday dinner, Declan chose La Fiamma. Next to the fabulous pizza, my favorite part of La Fiamma is that they bring out a tray of pizza dough for the kids to play with while we're waiting.

Highly entertaining.

Another great part? A big birthday brownie sundae for Declan, which he happily shared with the whole fam. (Check out the classic Sam/sugar face.)

The kids decked out in their Easter finest:
Don't they clean up real nice?

Grace started youth volleyball and is having a blast. I'm not sure which she likes more, actually playing volleyball or the "look." She can often be spotted around the house wearing her kneepads and bumping the ball around.

And here's Declan, sporting his "Pancho Villa" look.

And last but not least, here's the Christ Lutheran Preschool "Star of the Week" in all his handsomeness.
