We celebrated Sam's birthday at Sante Fe Restaurant this year for his beloved fajitas. He is having a friend party, too, but not until next week, so his actual birthday was family only. And it was fun.

...but finally gave in to the allure of the birthday sombrero.

But not to worry - there was more sugar waiting at home, in the form of a Cold Stone ice cream cake.

My kids never want friend birthday parties. Family parties are the best! And I think I might go to coldstone an buy a cake today. Just because I want to. That looks yummy!
