Thursday was the big day, and the reason we all went to Ireland: Stephen and Ciara's wedding. It was at a small pub/restaurant/hotel in Ashbourne, about 20 minutes out of Dublin.
It downpoured that afternoon, but the sun came out just before the outdoor ceremony and it was just beautiful. They got married on a little hill outside the pub that overlooked the countryside.
Davy had his internet license and performed the ceremony, and he did an excellent job!

After the ceremony, we moved inside to the dinner and party. They had a huge curry dinner and a traditional Irish band playing.
Open bar meant lots of Club Orange, a favorite of ours!

These two beautiful girls are so close. It's nice when your cousin is also one of your very best friends! They got to get up on stage with the band and sing "I'll Tell Me Ma," and they did an excellent job!
One of the highlights of the night was the Irish dancers who came and performed.
After the dancers left, a DJ came and it turned into a big dance party. The whole day was one of the most fun parties we've ever been to.
It was a very happy day for everyone!
