On Tuesday we pulled the kids out of school and went to Salt Lake for Yo Gabba Gabba Live.

Grace and Liam were embarrassed to tell their friends and teachers why they weren't there, so just told them we were going to Salt Lake! But those two had just as much fun as the little boys, even if they tried to act cool about it. In fact, Liam got really into the audience dancing parts!
It was a really fun show.
This great band did an amazing version of "Brown-Eyed Girl," complete with horns.
Brobee even flew!
And thousands of balloons dropped onto us.
At intermission, they had this screen up and you could send a text that would show up on the screen. I liked this one - "DJ Lance, will you marry me?" We sent one that said "Grace, Liam, Sam, and Declan smell like Toodee," but it never showed up on the screen. Grace said it was probably because they censored them for rudeness.
The bubble song, complete with massive bubble machines was fun.
And a big highlight for Garreth and me was Biz's Beat of the Day. I mean, going to high school in the 90's, how could one not get a little starstruck seeing Biz Markie in person?!
He pulled a bunch of kids on stage to do beats with him and it was very cute. Then he beat-boxed on his own.
One of our favorite songs is "There's a Party in My Tummy," so we were excited when they sang it and a bunch of food came down a big slide onto the stage.
Very fun family day. I love hanging out with these guys more than anything in this world.
