Once upon a time,

there was a dog named Nacho, whose family loved him very much.

Unfortunately, that family fell upon some hard times and it became clear that Nacho would be better off with a family who had more time for him. So they found a beautiful farm and a new loving family for their beloved dog, but they always kept in touch, even after moving four states away.

Months later, they got word that their Golden Retriever was channeling his breed's bird dog ways and going after the chickens and ducks on the farm. His new family was heartbroken to tell the old family that they, too, would need to find a new home for him.

By this time, the old family was fully settled and life had calmed down enough that they began thinking. They had a vacation planned to a place very near the farm. They contacted the new family with a proposal.

And a few months later, their beloved dog was back.

And they couldn't be happier about that.
